Charles N McEwen
President and co-founder of MSTM and Houghton Professor of Chemistry & Biochemistry, University of the Sciences, Philadelphia, PA has 35 years industiral experience working in the DuPont Central Research Department as a Manager and Research Fellow. He is co-founder of MSTM, LLC and M&M Mass Spec Consulting, LLC (asap-ms.com) and the inventor of the ASAP method used extensively in mass spectrometry. Professor McEwen has a number of patents, has edited and co-authored several books and book chapters, and has over 100 peer reviewed publications. He received his PhD degree from the University of Virginia under the direction of Donald Hunt, an MS degree from Atlanta University, and a BS degree from the College of William and Mary.
CEO and co-founder of MSTM and Professor of Chemistry, Wayne State University, Detroit, MI, is recipient of the NSF CAREER award, the American Society for Mass Spectrometry Young Investigator award, the Pittsburgh Conference Achievement Award, the DuPont Young Professor Award, the Eli Lilly Young Investigator in Analytical Chemistry award, and the WSU Schaap Faculty Scholor Award for Excellence in Teaching and Research. She holds several patents and has over 70 peer reviewed publications. Prof. Trimpin received the Doktor Naturwissenschaften from the Max-Planck-Institute for Polymer Research, Diplom Chemie and Baccalaureate from the University of Konstanz.
CTO of MSTM is a physical chemist with 15 years industrial experience driving new product developoment and leading collaborative academic/industrial teams. Dr. Pophristic served as PI on SBIR, STTR and ATP/NIST grants totaling over 2 million dollars and resulting in the prototype product and acquisition of Velox Simiconductor, Inc. by Power Integration, Inc. He received the BS in Physical Biochemistry from the University of Belgrade, and a PhD degree in Physical Chemistry/Materials Science from Rutgers University. He also holds an MBA degree in Marketing and Management from Rutgers University
Ellen Inutan, Professor, Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology is on leave serving as a Senior Research Scientist for MSTM. Dr. Inutan is a co-inventor of matrix-assisted ionization vacuum (MAIV) with Prof. Trimpin. She has 30 publications, most relating to the technologies being developed by MSTM. Dr. Inutan is responsible for driving developments toward commercialization of the new ionization technologies.
Santosh Karki, PhD, has a \Masters of Science degree from Tribhuvan University and a PhD degree at Temple University (2017) under the direction of Prof. Robert Levis. Dr. Karki is a postdoctoral fellow working for MATM through Wayne State University developing the MSTM automation platform and new ionization technologies for commerciallization.
Anil Kumar Meher, PhD, , received a Masters of Science degree from Kuvempu University and a PhD degree from National Chiao Tung University (2016). Dr. Meher is a postdoctoral fellow through Wayne State University working on developing new ionization technologies and the the automated platform for commercialization.
